BNA raised its parking rates, closed Lot A and went cashless this summer. Here are the current official prices, what a 3-, 7- or 14-day trip really costs, and where off-airport lots save you the most.
The short answer: on-airport parking at Nashville International Airport (BNA) now costs $24/day in Economy Lots B and C, $36/day in Terminal Garages 1 and 2, and $48/day for valet. Terminal Lot A closed July 1, 2026, and all on-airport parking is now cashless. For trips longer than a couple of days, a pre-booked off-airport lot with a shuttle is usually the cheapest option.
⚠ What Changed in 2026
Rates went up. If another guide quotes $16 economy or $26 garages, it’s out of date. Lot A is closed to make room for BNA’s new rental car facility and parking garage. No cash at the exit: since July 1, BNA parking is cashless. If you only have cash, convert it at the Cash-to-Card machines on the Departures Level (North and South Ticketing) or on the Arrivals Level between baggage claims 8 and 9.

Short Visits: Picking Up or Dropping Off
In the terminal garages, the first 30 minutes are free. From 30 to 60 minutes costs $18, and anything over an hour hits the $36 daily maximum. A long wait for a delayed flight can cost you the full-day rate, so use the free cell phone lot instead (below).
What BNA Parking Actually Costs by Trip Length
The daily rate is only half the answer. Here are on-airport totals at current official rates, next to a typical pre-booked off-airport lot at about $10/day. Off-airport prices vary by lot and date, so check live rates before you book.

The Gap
On a one-week trip, the terminal garage costs about $180 more than a typical off-airport lot. On two weeks, the gap is around $360. Even BNA’s own economy lots cost more than double a typical off-airport rate.
Rule of thumb: for a day trip or an overnight, a terminal garage is easy to justify. From about three days on, off-airport with a shuttle wins on price almost every time.
Off-Airport Parking Near BNA
Private lots and airport-area hotels around Donelson Pike and Murfreesboro Pike run their own shuttles to the terminal, and pre-booked rates usually land well below BNA’s $24 economy rate. Before you book:
- Check shuttle hours if your flight leaves before 6 a.m. or lands after midnight. Many run 24/7, but not all.
- Read the return instructions. Most lots ask you to call or text when you have your bags so the shuttle can meet you.
- Look at covered vs. uncovered. Middle Tennessee summers and spring hail make covered parking worth a couple of extra dollars for some drivers.
- Ask about long-stay discounts for trips of two weeks or more.
Park-and-Fly Hotel Packages
For early flights, some airport-area hotels bundle one night’s stay with parking for the length of your trip, plus their shuttle to the terminal. You skip the pre-dawn drive and get a hotel night out of money you were going to spend on parking anyway. Compare packages against a standalone lot plus your usual drive.

Timing tip: BNA estimates about 15 minutes from landing to the curb without bags, and about 30 minutes with checked bags or on international flights.
BNA Construction and Parking
BNA is in the middle of major construction, including the Central Core project inside the terminal and the new rental car facility and parking garage being built where Lot A used to be. On-airport garages often fill up, and BNA’s own parking page regularly shows the terminal garages as “Full.” Two takeaways:
- Check live lot status on flynashville.com before you leave home. It shows each lot’s availability.
- Reserve ahead on busy travel days rather than circling for a spot.

Tips for Parking at BNA
- EV drivers: charging is in Terminal Garage 1 (P2–P6) and Garage 2 (P2–P3). You must be actively charging to use those spots.
- Motorcycles: park in the northeast corner of every level of the terminal garages.
- Oversized vehicles: use Economy Lots B and C, which have special pricing.
- Bring a card. Exits are cashless. Cash is still fine for tipping valet.
- Allow extra time. Donelson Pike and I-40 back up at rush hour. Add 20–30 minutes on weekday mornings and evenings.
