CMA Fest parking is one of those things that separates the people who had a great experience from the people who spent two hours stuck in traffic before the headliner even started.
CMA Fest 2026 runs June 4–7 in downtown Nashville, drawing over 80,000 attendees per day across multiple venues — Nissan Stadium for the nightly headliner concerts, plus daytime stages at Riverfront Park, Walk of Fame Park, Bridgestone Plaza, and Fan Fair X at the Music City Center. With that many people flooding downtown over four days, parking requires a real plan.
This guide gives you that plan.
The Most Important Thing to Know About CMA Fest Parking
Parking near Nissan Stadium — where the nightly concerts happen — is extremely limited. The official recommendation from CMA Fest organizers is to park downtown and walk or shuttle to the stadium, not to try to park near the stadium itself.
That changes your whole approach. You’re not parking at the venue — you’re parking downtown and working from there.
Where to Park for CMA Fest
Downtown Garages — Your Best Bet
The most reliable CMA Fest parking strategy is to book a downtown garage in advance and use it as your base for all four days. The best options:
Music City Center Garage
One of the largest garages downtown and close to the daytime stages at Walk of Fame Park and Fan Fair X. CMA Fest officially recommends the Music City Center SpotHero page for advance parking reservations. Book this one early — it fills up fast during CMA Fest week.
Pinnacle Garage
150 3rd Ave S — a few blocks from Bridgestone Arena and Broadway, well-positioned for both daytime and evening activities.
Other downtown garages within the Broadway and lower downtown footprint work well too. See our Nashville Parking Guide for a full list of downtown options.
Important: Downtown hotel parking during CMA Fest runs $45–$75 per night. If you’re staying downtown, factor that into your budget. Public garages are significantly cheaper.
Book Through SpotHero in Advance
CMA Fest officially directs attendees to SpotHero for parking reservations. This is not a casual suggestion — downtown parking genuinely sells out during CMA Fest week, especially for evening concert days. Book as early as possible, ideally weeks before the festival.
Getting from Downtown to Nissan Stadium
Once you’re parked downtown, you have three options to get to the nightly stadium concerts:
Option 1 — Official CMA Fest Shuttles (Free)
CMA Fest runs official shuttle service between downtown and Nissan Stadium throughout the festival. Shuttles are free for festival attendees, ADA-accessible, and run approximately 9am–1am each day.
Shuttle pickup locations have included spots like 6th Avenue and Demonbreun downtown and near S. 1st Street by Nissan Stadium. Check the official CMA Connect App for current shuttle stops and schedules as they’re confirmed closer to the event.
Option 2 — Walk the Pedestrian Bridge
Park downtown and walk across the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge to Nissan Stadium — about 10–12 minutes on foot. This is what locals do. The bridge walk is actually a great part of the experience — you’re walking with thousands of other fans, the energy is high, and you skip shuttle wait times entirely.
The Woodland Street Bridge and Korean Veterans Blvd Bridge are also pedestrian options across the river.
Option 3 — Rideshare
Uber and Lyft are plentiful in Nashville during CMA Fest. Surge pricing will be in effect, especially right after the nightly concerts end. If you use rideshare, walk a few blocks away from the stadium or main stages before requesting your ride — drivers avoid heavy traffic areas and you’ll get picked up faster.
CMA Fest Parking Tips That Actually Help
Book downtown parking before you arrive in Nashville. This is non-negotiable. Showing up and hoping to find a spot during CMA Fest is a recipe for a bad night. SpotHero reservations for Music City Center and other downtown garages should be made weeks in advance.
Plan to walk more than usual. CMA Fest is spread across multiple downtown venues over four days. Comfortable shoes are more important than convenient parking. Park once, stay on foot.
Arrive early for daytime activities. Downtown garages fill quickly on Thursday and Friday afternoons when the festival hits its stride. If you’re going to the daytime free stages, get downtown before noon.
The pedestrian bridge walk is better than waiting for a shuttle. Both are good options but experienced CMA Fest attendees often prefer the bridge — it’s faster, the views are great, and you’re not standing in a shuttle line after a four-hour concert.
Expect road closures. Several streets around Lower Broadway close to vehicle traffic during CMA Fest to accommodate crowds. Don’t rely on your usual downtown driving routes — build extra time into your arrival.
CMA Fest has gone cashless. This doesn’t affect parking directly but good to know — bring your credit card or set up Apple Pay/Google Pay for everything at the festival.
Check the CMA Connect App. Shuttle schedules, maps, and transportation updates are all in the official app. Download it before you arrive.
What About Parking Near Nissan Stadium?
Parking near Nissan Stadium during CMA Fest is extremely limited and generally not recommended by festival organizers. The stadium’s surrounding lots are primarily reserved or unavailable during the festival footprint.
The official guidance is clear: park downtown and walk or shuttle over. It’s genuinely easier, cheaper, and less stressful than trying to fight for stadium-adjacent parking.
