Parking at Nissan Stadium for Ed Sheeran
Nissan Stadium on-site parking is available for this show — unlike CMA Fest where construction eliminates public parking, a standard concert at Nissan Stadium has parking lots open. That said, lots fill fast for stadium shows and prices at the gate are significantly higher than pre-booked rates.
Book parking in advance through SpotHero. This is the single most useful thing you can do before the show. Search Nissan Stadium parking on SpotHero here — you can compare lots, lock in your price, and walk in knowing exactly where you’re going instead of circling downtown at 5pm looking for a spot.
The pedestrian bridge is your best move if you’re staying downtown. The John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge connects Lower Broadway directly to the stadium side — it’s a 10-15 minute walk and completely bypasses all parking and traffic. If you’re staying or eating near Broadway before the show, walk over. It’s free, it’s faster than driving, and the view of the Nashville skyline from the bridge is worth doing at least once.
Rideshare works well — designated pickup and dropoff zones at Nissan Stadium handle the volume for stadium shows. Expect surge pricing around 5-5:30pm when everyone arrives and after the show ends. If you’re planning to drink at the concert, rideshare is the obvious choice — build the cost in before you go.
Our full Nissan Stadium parking guide covers every option in detail if you want to go deeper on the logistics.
One important reminder: Nashville towing is aggressive. Don’t park somewhere that looks convenient and assume it’ll be fine. Our car towed in Nashville guide covers what to do if you come back to an empty spot — but planning ahead with SpotHero eliminates the risk entirely.
What to Know at Nissan Stadium
Cashless venue. Nissan Stadium does not accept cash. Load a digital wallet or bring a physical card before you arrive — nothing inside the stadium including concessions and merchandise accepts cash.
Clear bag policy. The standard clear bag policy applies. Bags must be clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC and no larger than 12″ x 6″ x 12″, or a one-gallon clear plastic freezer bag. A small clutch purse no larger than 4.5″ x 6.5″ is also permitted. Don’t arrive with a standard backpack or purse expecting to get through security — you won’t.
Arrive early. Gates open at 5:30pm with three openers before Ed takes the stage. Getting there at gate open beats the security line rush that hits around 6-6:30pm when the later crowd arrives. Myles Smith is worth seeing if you don’t know his music — his breakout track “Stargazing” has been one of the biggest songs of the year.
It’s June in Nashville. The show starts at 5:30pm in full summer heat and humidity. Bring sunscreen, wear light layers, and hydrate before you go. Stadium concourse temperatures in early evening on a June Saturday in Nashville are real. The air conditioning inside the gates helps but the open-air stadium bowl is warm until the sun drops.
Where to Stay for the Ed Sheeran Show
Nashville hotel inventory in June is tight and expensive — CMA Fest runs June 4-7 and the summer concert season keeps demand elevated throughout the month. If you’re coming from out of town for this show, book today rather than this week.
Hotels
Downtown Nashville hotels put you walking distance from the pedestrian bridge to Nissan Stadium and in the middle of the Broadway entertainment district for before and after the show. Premium price but maximum convenience for a stadium show.
Midtown and West End hotels — including the Kimpton Aertson near Vanderbilt — offer a quieter base at more reasonable rates with easy rideshare access to the stadium. Our Midtown Nashville hotels guide covers the best options in that corridor.

VRBOs — Better for Groups
If you’re coming with a group of four or more for the show, a VRBO in East Nashville gives you a full house 10-15 minutes from the stadium at significantly better value than multiple hotel rooms. Kitchen for pre-show drinks and snacks, living room to decompress after, a real Nashville neighborhood outside the door.

Before the Show: Where to Eat and Drink in Nashville
With a 5:30pm door time, you have the afternoon to explore Nashville before the show. A few options depending on where you’re staying:
Broadway and Lower Broadway — the full Nashville honky tonk experience, walking distance to the pedestrian bridge. Loud, fun, crowded on a Saturday. Perfect if you want the full Music City pre-show experience.
Germantown — 10 minutes from the stadium by rideshare, some of Nashville’s best restaurants, significantly calmer than Broadway. Better food, quieter atmosphere, easy rideshare to the stadium when you’re ready.
East Nashville — 10-15 minutes from the stadium, great local restaurant scene, genuine neighborhood energy. If you’re staying in East Nashville, eat local before the show and rideshare over.
Flying Into BNA for the Show
BNA is currently mid-construction on its 18-month Central Core Enhancement project. Terminal navigation is different from what returning visitors expect — the main escalator bank is offline and moving through the terminal takes longer than usual. Build extra time into your arrival window if you’re flying in day-of.
Book your airport parking before you travel. Our BNA airport parking guide covers every option from on-site garages to off-site lots with shuttles. And our BNA construction guide tells you exactly what to expect navigating the terminal right now.
The LOOP Tour: What to Expect From the Show
Ed Sheeran’s LOOP Tour is his most ambitious production yet — a full stadium show built around his complete catalog from the + era through his newest material. Expect new songs from his latest album alongside fan favorites like “Bad Habits,” “Perfect,” and “Photograph.” Three openers — Myles Smith, Amble, and Aaron Rowe — make it a full evening of music from doors open through the headliner set.
Ed Sheeran shows are known for running long and ending with the crowd singing together. Nashville audiences are musically engaged in a way that makes stadium shows here genuinely electric. The crowd will know every word.
