BNA Uber & Lyft Pickup 2026: Where to Go at Nashville Airport (Zones A–C)

Nashville Unscripted · Nashville Airport

Nashville airport Uber pickup, Lyft, taxis, hotel shuttles and the WeGo bus all leave from one place, and it isn’t the arrivals curb. Here’s exactly where to go after baggage claim.

The short answer: at Nashville International Airport (BNA), rideshare, taxis, hotel shuttles, limos and the WeGo bus all pick up at the Ground Transportation Center (GTC) on Level 1 of Terminal Garage 2. Go down one level from baggage claim, exit the terminal toward Ground Transportation, and follow the signs for your ride.

How to Get to the Ground Transportation Center

  • Collect your bags on the Arrivals Level (Level 2).
  • Take the escalator or elevator down to Level 1, the ground level.
  • Exit the terminal on Level 1 and turn right. Follow the sidewalk and covered walkway to Terminal Garage 2. The GTC is on its ground floor.
  • Follow the signs for your ride: Ride App Pickup for Uber and Lyft, Taxis/Limo, hotel shuttles, or the WeGo bus.

⚠ The Most Common Mistake

Don’t wait for Uber or Lyft on the arrivals curb or at departures. App pickups happen only inside the GTC: Lyft in Zone A, Uber in Zones B and C, and KreweCar in Zone D. If you’re standing outside the terminal on Level 2, you’re in the wrong place.

The app shows your fare before you confirm. Prices jump during surges: big events, bad weather and late-night arrivals. Head to the GTC first, then request.

Taxi

$30 flat

GTC · Taxis/Limo signs

Metro Nashville sets a $30 flat fare between BNA and downtown or Opryland, plus $2 per extra passenger. Other destinations run on the meter. When surge pricing kicks in, a taxi is often the cheaper choice.

Hotel Shuttle

Often free

GTC

Many airport-area hotels run shuttles. Call your hotel when you land to confirm the pickup spot and schedule. Downtown hotels rarely offer one.

WeGo Bus (Route 18)

About $2

GTC

Roughly hourly service between BNA and downtown’s WeGo Central station, seven days a week. It’s the cheapest way downtown if you’re traveling light and have time. Check wegotransit.com for the current schedule and fare.

Rental Cars

Varies

Level 1 · walk, no shuttle

Counters are on Level 1 at the north and south ends, below baggage claim. Then cross Terminal Drive to Terminal Garage 1 to pick up your car. All walkable, no shuttle.

Getting Picked Up by a Friend? Use the Free Cell Lot

Terminal Lot A, the old short-term lot, closed July 1, 2026 for construction. In the terminal garages, the first 30 minutes are free, but staying longer jumps to $18 and then the $36 daily maximum.

💡 The Smart Way to Pick Someone Up

Wait at the free Cell Waiting Lot at 1415 Murfreesboro Pike. It’s fenced and monitored, with live flight screens. BNA estimates about 15 minutes from landing to the curb without bags and about 30 minutes with bags, so leave the cell lot when your passenger texts that they have their luggage.

Construction Note

BNA is mid-construction on its Central Core and a new rental car facility and parking garage. Walking routes inside the terminal can shift, so follow posted signs and BNA staff over any older map, including this one. See our BNA construction guide for details.
